I am preparing to launch an online marketplace that connects both consumers and service providers in the UK. Before we go live, every core policy must be airtight and fully aligned with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The work involves a complete legal sweep of five key documents: Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, User Agreement, Cookies Policy, and a Service Provider Agreement. I already have existing drafts for a few of these, but they need a professional review; the remainder will have to be produced from scratch. Alongside data-protection compliance, the text must also cover distance-selling rules, consumer rights, ePrivacy considerations, and clear liability allocations between the two user groups on the platform. Deliverables • Red-lined review of any existing drafts, showing every proposed change • Final publication-ready versions of all five documents in plain, accessible English • A short compliance memo (one or two pages) explaining how each document meets GDPR and Data Protection Act requirements and flagging any operational steps I must take Acceptance criteria • All content references the correct UK statutes and terminology • Language is platform-specific, not template-generic, and speaks to both consumers and service providers • No unresolved “TBC” sections or open legal questions remain in the final copy I’d like the initial review within one week, with a further week for revisions after feedback.
