Google just sent two notices warning that Guitar Tunes will be removed unless I bring it up to the latest Play requirements. The messages cite both the “target API level” policy and the mandatory Google Play Billing Library upgrade. Where the app stands now • Built against API 30, still accepted for existing installs but blocked for new updates after the deadline. • Uses an older in-app billing implementation (pre-Billing Library 6). What I need 1. Bump the project to the current target/compile SDK (API 33 or whatever Google stipulates at the time you start). 2. Replace the legacy billing code with Google Play Billing Library 6 while keeping every existing product ID working for subscriptions and one-time purchases. 3. Retrofit proguard / obfuscation rules, manifest changes, and permission updates that the newer SDKs demand. 4. Deliver a signed release bundle ready for Play Console plus the updated source in my Git repository. 5. Quick smoke test on at least one Android 13 device to confirm install, purchase flow, and restore purchases work as before. Acceptance criteria • Play Console pre-launch report shows zero policy errors related to API level or billing. • All previous SKU purchases restore successfully on test accounts. • Bundle size increase kept minimal (≤5 %). Project is otherwise stable; no functional changes outside compliance are required. I keep the keystore and Play access, so your job ends once a clean bundle is uploaded and the policy warnings disappear.
