PROJECT: COMPLETE & MODIFY EXISTING POLYMARKET COPY TRADING BOT SIMPLE Project MAX $10-$20 for this Project OVERVIEW This is NOT a project that needs to be built from scratch. I already have a working foundation of a Windows desktop Polymarket copy trading bot. The interface, architecture, and much of the functionality already exist. I will provide the current source code and project files. I need an experienced developer to complete, refine, and improve the existing bot so that it functions exactly as described below. The goal is a simple, reliable, automated copy trading application with minimal configuration and only two trading modes. ====================================================================== PRIMARY OBJECTIVE ====================================================================== The software will continuously monitor ONE public Polymarket wallet address that I specify. Whenever that wallet opens a new qualifying position, my account should automatically copy the trade using one of the two trading modes described below. The software is NOT intended to generate predictions or betting signals. Its only purpose is to accurately mirror a selected trader. ====================================================================== TRADING MODE 1 - PROPORTIONAL COPY ====================================================================== This mode should proportionally copy the target trader's account sizing. Example: If the target trader uses 12% of his account on a trade... My account should automatically use approximately 12% of my available account balance. The software should calculate this automatically. I simply want an ON/OFF toggle for this mode. ====================================================================== TRADING MODE 2 - FIXED 50% MODE (PRIMARY MODE) ====================================================================== This will be the primary mode that I intend to use. The software should only allow ONE OPEN POSITION AT A TIME. Each copied trade should automatically use exactly 50% of my currently available account balance. When that market settles, the released funds become available. The next qualifying copied trade should again use exactly 50% of the updated balance. This creates automatic compounding without requiring any manual sizing adjustments. There should be no additional position sizing settings. ====================================================================== TRADE FILTERING RULES ====================================================================== RULE 1 If multiple qualifying trades exist, ONLY copy the trade that settles the soonest. Fast capital recycling is extremely important. RULE 2 My copied trade must NEVER exceed the original dollar amount used by the target trader. Example: If the target trader risks $400... My trade may be: $400 or Any smaller amount. It must never be larger than the target trader's position. ====================================================================== ENTRY PRICE REQUIREMENT (MOST IMPORTANT RULE) ====================================================================== This is the single most important requirement. The bot must ONLY enter if my execution price is the SAME or BETTER than the target trader's entry price. Example: Target enters at 30 cents. My acceptable entries: 30 cents 29 cents 28 cents 27 cents NOT acceptable: 31 cents 32 cents 35 cents If the market has already moved above the target trader's entry price, the trade should simply be skipped. I would rather miss the trade than receive a worse expected value. ====================================================================== AUTOMATION ====================================================================== Once configured, the workflow should simply be: 1. Launch application. 2. Connect my Polymarket account. 3. Enter the public wallet address to follow. 4. Select Trading Mode 1 or Trading Mode 2. 5. Press Start. Everything else should operate automatically. The bot should continuously: • Monitor the selected wallet • Detect new positions • Copy qualifying trades • Enforce entry price rules • Manage available capital • Reinvest released capital automatically • Prevent duplicate trades • Maintain complete logs ====================================================================== DASHBOARD ====================================================================== The existing interface should be improved as needed and display: • Connected account • Wallet being followed • Current balance • Available buying power • Current trading mode • Open copied trades • Entry price • Current market price • Unrealized P/L • Settlement countdown • Closed trades • Daily statistics • Activity log The interface should remain clean, modern, and simple. ====================================================================== TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS ====================================================================== Preferred technologies: • Python • Async/event-driven architecture • Modular codebase • SQLite or PostgreSQL • Structured logging • Automatic reconnects • Windows desktop application The code should be clean, documented, maintainable, and easy to expand. ====================================================================== IMPORTANT NOTES ====================================================================== I will provide the current source code and project files. This is a modification and completion project, not a new build. The developer should improve the existing foundation rather than replacing it. The application should interact with Polymarket using the official APIs and supported authentication methods wherever possible. If there are technical limitations related to API access, authentication, order placement, or regional availability, the developer should explain them clearly and implement the most reliable, compliant solution available. The finished application should require very little user interaction, reliably mirror the selected trader according to the rules above, and operate as a stable, automated Windows desktop application. SETUP & FINAL HANDOFF As part of this project, the developer will also be expected to assist me with the initial setup and connection of the completed bot to my own Polymarket account. This includes providing clear step-by-step instructions and helping verify that the application is properly connected and functioning correctly with my wallet and account before the project is considered complete. The goal is to ensure that I can successfully: • Connect my wallet • Authenticate the application • Configure any required API settings or credentials • Verify that the bot is monitoring the selected wallet correctly • Verify that copied trades are functioning as intended I do not expect long-term support, but I do expect reasonable assistance during the initial setup process so that the software is fully operational on my Windows PC before final delivery.
