I need a certified public accountant who is completely fluent in U.S. accounting standards to take ownership books in QuickBooks Online. Day to day, you will keep every transaction up-to-date, reconcile each bank and credit-card statement, and ensure that my chart of accounts stays clean and consistent. Beyond routine bookkeeping, I rely on you for accurate, timely financial reporting and tax preparation: monthly P&L and balance sheet, quarterly tax estimates, and a smooth year-end close that rolls straight into the federal and state returns. Everything must align with GAAP and the latest IRS guidance so there are no surprises when filings are due. Because QuickBooks Online is already set up, I expect you to be fully comfortable with its automation features, rules, and reporting tools, as well as common add-ons like payroll and receipts capture. You should also be prepared to advise on best practices or workflow tweaks that tighten internal controls and cut down reconciliation time.
