Descripción de la oferta

I’m looking to build a focused productivity application that lets two computers communicate directly over a USB-C cable. The primary goal is smooth “Apks and desktop IO data exchanges” between connected machines, with the option to recognise simple IoT boards that expose extra I/O for scripting or automation later on. Core objectives • Create a cross-platform desktop client (Windows first; macOS/Linux welcome if the framework makes it easy). • Detect a peer computer or supported IoT board as soon as the USB-C link is plugged in. • Provide an intuitive interface where I can queue, send and receive files—including large .apk packages—while monitoring transfer speed and progress. • Expose a lightweight API or command-line switch so future scripts can trigger transfers or read basic I/O states from an attached board. Technical expectations • A clean, maintainable codebase in a commonly supported language or framework (Electron, Qt, C#, Python + PySide—open to your recommendation). • Reliable hand-shaking and error-handling so the connection recovers gracefully if the cable is unplugged. • A build guide plus short README so I can reproduce the binaries on my own machine. Deliverables 1. Functional desktop prototype meeting the objectives above. 2. Source code and build instructions. 3. Brief user guide or screen-capture walkthrough demonstrating a successful computer-to-computer transfer over USB-C. If you have experience with USB device classes, bulk transfers, or cross-platform desktop UIs, let me know what libraries you’d use and how long the first prototype might take.
