I’m putting together the launch campaign for our inaugural Great Southern Yarn advent calendar and I need a single, captivating hero image that captures the phrase “somewhere beyond the rainbow.” The artwork has to feel whimsical and magical while bursting with bright, vibrant colours that hint at the Wizard-of-Oz journey—without using any direct, copyright-protected icons. Think suggestive gradients, playful textures, light-filled pathways or silhouettes that evoke yellow-brick exhilaration and ruby-red excitement, but stay firmly in the realm of colour storytelling rather than literal movie references. The finished graphic will headline our preorder page, social posts and print flyers announcing: • Debut of Great Southern Yarn • Pre-order now – ordering closes 31 August • A magical fibre journey of 13 colours of wonder and surprise Deliverables 1. High-resolution hero image sized for both web banner (3000 × 1500 px) and A4 print. 2. Layered source file (PSD or AI) so my team can adjust copy placement later. 3. A short note on the colour palette used, so we can match it in yarn labels and packaging. Acceptance – Visual mood: whimsical, bright, vibrant, with an unmistakable sense of magic. – No literal Wizard of Oz characters, shoes, or trademarked scenery; excitement must come from colour, composition and light. – Text elements must be editable and the phrase “somewhere beyond the rainbow” placed prominently.
