I want to breathe new life into our current website so the imagery can finally do the talking. The brief is straightforward: craft a clean, contemporary design that is fully responsive and gives me the freedom to feature large, high-quality photos without wrestling with code or slow load times. On the back end I need a CMS that lets me drag-and-drop files straight into the media library, with automatic resizing and optimisation running quietly in the background. Once the images are in, the front-end experience must revolve around elegant photo galleries—smooth transitions, caption support, and a layout that adapts gracefully to every screen size. If you have tasteful ideas for sliders or lightboxes that complement (not compete with) the galleries, I’m happy to discuss them. I will supply brand colours, fonts, and a link to the current site as soon as we kick off. To keep expectations crystal clear, here’s what I’ll be looking for at hand-off: • Pixel-perfect responsive redesign, ready for production • CMS configured with drag-and-drop image management and optimisation • One or more reusable gallery templates I can populate myself • Performance tuning so large photos load fast (lazy loading, compression, WebP, etc.) • Short written or video walkthrough showing me how to add new content confidently If you’ve built gallery-centric sites before, please share a couple of live examples and let me know the stack you’d prefer for this project.
