I’m building a web application and need an AI-powered onboarding assistant that greets new users through natural, voice-based conversation. During the first-run experience it should be able to: • Guide users with interactive, step-by-step tutorials tied to the real interface, highlighting elements, explaining features, and waiting for the user to complete each action before moving on. • Keep track of individual progress so a user can exit and pick up where they left off, and so I can view aggregate completion metrics on the admin side. The assistant will live directly inside the browser; no separate mobile or desktop build is required. I’m open to whichever web-friendly stack you prefer—Web Speech API, Whisper, or another speech engine for voice I/O; React or Vue for the UI; and a lightweight backend (Node, Python, or similar) for storing progress data. Deliverables 1. Front-end component that embeds the voice assistant in my existing site. 2. Tutorial authoring schema (JSON or comparable) so I can add future walkthroughs without code changes. 3. Secure storage solution for progress tracking, with a simple dashboard or API endpoint to pull completion stats. 4. Setup documentation and a brief hand-off call once everything is live and tested in my staging environment. I’ll supply access to the current codebase and staging server.
