I already hold department-level risk, control, inherent and residual risk inventories for Finance, Compliance, IT and the rest of our insurance operation. Your task is to turn those spreadsheets and narratives into a single, web-based Integrated Risk Register/RCSA platform that allows me to monitor, score and report risk in real time. Core requirements The engine must apply a hybrid approach that blends qualitative inputs with quantitative weighting, so automated risk scoring can instantly display both inherent and residual exposure. (5x5 matrix) Dashboards have to refresh in real time and let me drill down from an enterprise view to individual control test evidence. Because controls will be tested continuously, the system also needs a simple workflow to record test frequency, results and remediation ownership across departments. What you will work with • Existing inventories: risk statements, control descriptions, key risk indicators and pre-calculated inherent/residual levels. • Insurance-specific taxonomies and department structures (Finance, Compliance, IT and all other business units). Scope of your part-time engagement You will map the current data model, design and build the web interface, configure the scoring logic, migrate the data, and document the platform so internal teams can maintain it. I’m flexible on the tech stack—popular GRC tools, low-code frameworks or a custom build in, for example, Django/React or .NET are all acceptable as long as they meet the requirements above. Expect periodic check-ins rather than fixed daily hours; deliverables matter more than clock time. Acceptance criteria • Single sign-on portal live on our hosting environment. • Risk register and RCSA modules populated with the supplied data. • Automated scoring and real-time dashboards functioning for every department. • Control testing workflow demonstrated end-to-end with sample evidence uploaded. • Administrator guide and user manual delivered.
