Web Scraper / Business Email Researcher Overview We are looking for a reliable freelancer to research and collect business email addresses. You will be provided with an Excel spreadsheet containing business names and addresses. Responsibilities Search Google and other publicly available online sources to find the most relevant email address for each business. Verify that the email address belongs to the listed business. Enter the email address into the corresponding row in the Excel file. Maintain the exact order of the spreadsheet. Do not sort, rearrange, or delete any rows. If no valid business email can be found, leave the email cell blank. Ensure all collected email addresses are accurate and relevant to the listed business. Requirements Strong internet research skills. Experience with web research, data entry, or web scraping. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality. Performance Expectations Target output: approximately 1,000 researched email addresses per day. Emails must be found through publicly available online sources (primarily Google) and must be associated with the listed business type Technical Requirements The ideal freelancer should have experience with automation and AI-assisted web research. Candidates with the following technical skills will be preferred: Experience with Python for web automation and data processing. Experience integrating Google Gemini API (or similar AI APIs) to assist with identifying and validating business email addresses. Knowledge of web scraping frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium. Experience automating data collection workflows while complying with website terms of service. Experience with email validation or data quality assurance is an advantage. Ability to find raw data from directory and lead tools like Apollo or Clay. Deliverables An Excel file with: The original row order preserved. One verified business email address entered for each business where available. Blank cells for businesses where no valid email address can be found. Quality is more important than quantity. We will review submissions for accuracy, relevance, and adherence to the original spreadsheet order. Consistently accurate work may lead to ongoing projects.
