I am building a WhatsApp-based chatbot that gives clients clear, actionable investment-strategy advice. The focus is narrow by design: the bot does not need to field general customer-support questions or process transactions at this stage; it simply listens to a user’s goals and risk tolerance and returns tailored portfolio suggestions in natural language. What I already have • A verified WhatsApp Business number and Meta Cloud API access • Preliminary prompts that outline my investment-advice framework and compliance disclosures What I need from you • Set up the webhook, session handling, and message templates using the official WhatsApp Cloud API (or Twilio if you prefer and can justify the choice). • Connect the chat flow to an LLM such as OpenAI GPT-4 or a comparable on-prem model so responses sound human while remaining aligned with my predefined guidelines. • Pull real-time market data for stocks, bonds and broad indices—so the advice feels current—through an API like Yahoo Finance, Alpha Vantage, or a data source you recommend. • Implement basic guardrails: no personalized tax advice, position size caps based on configurable risk tiers, and a disclaimer appended to each recommendation. • Package a small dashboard (simple React or plain HTML is fine) where I can review conversation logs, tweak prompt variables, and toggle the data feeds. • Hand-over: documented source code (Git), setup script or Dockerfile, and a brief Loom or screen-share walkthrough so I can redeploy it myself. Acceptance criteria 1. User can start a WhatsApp chat, answer a few guided questions, and receive an individualized investment strategy in under 10 seconds. 2. All messages comply with the guardrails and include the required disclaimer. 3. Source builds cleanly on a fresh VPS or AWS Lightsail instance using only the instructions you provide.
