I need a small-footprint Windows desktop application for my diagnostic laboratory that will automatically push every completed blood-test (and any other sample) report from our multiple local machine to a VPS cloud server as well as local server and map the data to the specific patient ID related report. I’m not tied to a particular provider—AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or any other reliable VPS will work—so long as the solution keeps the upload process stable, secure, and easy to configure. Core flow • The moment a report is generated or dropped into a “finished” folder, the app should detect it, encrypt or otherwise secure the file, and send it straight to the designated cloud location. • A lightweight dashboard should let me set or change the VPS credentials, target directory/bucket, and basic scheduling/queue rules. • A simple activity log (with date, time, and status) must show successful transfers and flag any failures so we can resend with one click. Preferred stack I’m comfortable with you using Java/ C#/.NET (WinForms or WPF) plus a small local SQLite or lightweight SQL database for logs, but I’m open to alternatives that meet the same reliability and security standards. Deliverables 1. Compiled Windows installer (x64) 2. Full source code with build instructions 3. Local machine installetion /Cloud deployment (we have linux server) /connection guide for at least one mainstream VPS option 4. Brief user manual and change log Acceptance criteria • Auto-upload triggers within 30 seconds of file creation/we can discuss the timing. • 100 % of test files confirmed on the cloud destination through checksum or equivalent. • App runs unobtrusively in the system tray without impacting other LIS software we already use.
