Request for Proposal (RFP) WordPress Directory Platform (MVP) Project Overview I am seeking proposals from experienced WordPress development firms to build the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a scalable, location-based online directory platform serving a specialized healthcare-related niche. The objective is to launch a high-performance directory designed for long-term national expansion while maintaining a lean, SEO-focused architecture during the initial release. The project is currently fully planned and documented. I am seeking a development partner to execute the MVP and ideally support future phases of the platform as it grows. ⸻ Scope of Work The MVP should include: * WordPress (latest stable version) * Lightweight performance-focused theme (CyberChimps Responsive Pro) * GeoDirectory implementation and configuration * Custom provider listing fields * Multi-location directory architecture * Advanced search and filtering * Provider profile pages * “Claim Your Listing” workflow * “Submit a Listing” workflow * Stripe subscription integration for recurring provider memberships * Mobile-responsive design * Technical SEO implementation * Core Web Vitals optimization * WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility * Google Maps integration utilizing lazy loading for performance * Basic legal pages and contact forms ⸻ Initial Launch The MVP will launch across five major U.S. metropolitan markets with approximately 250 pre-populated provider listings supplied by the client.
