I run a WordPress site that already uses the miniOrange SAML 2.0 plugin as the Service Provider and Microsoft Entra ID as the Identity Provider. What I need is a single link (or endpoint/short-code, whichever is cleaner) that will: • initiate the SSO flow, • pull back the full user profile including our custom Entra ID attributes, • and, once the assertion is validated, automatically send the user to my specified URL. If the SSO handshake fails, or the user is unauthenticated, the same link must push them straight to the existing WordPress login page instead. The login page is already built, so no front-end work is necessary—this request is purely about the behind-the-scenes logic, attribute mapping, and reliable redirection. Deliverables I expect: 1. The working link (or shortcode/function) ready to drop into any page or menu. 2. Correct attribute mapping in miniOrange for every custom field returned from Entra ID. 3. Brief setup notes so I can replicate the configuration on staging and production. Please make sure everything is tested with the current versions of WordPress, the miniOrange SAML plugin, and Microsoft Entra ID.
