Project Title: WordPress Developer & Local SEO Expert for Real Estate + Restaurant Brand Project Description: I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer and SEO specialist to optimize and expand my current website. The site represents a coastal North Carolina real estate vacation rentals, but we are expanding it to include our annual property rentals, an area guide, and our hospitality portfolio. I need someone who can establish a strong technical SEO foundation while building out custom, easy-to-manage sections for my team to update in the future. Scope of Work: 1. Real Estate & Rental Architecture: Annual Rentals Section: Build a custom setup (using Custom Post Types/ACF) for annual rentals. I need a custom taxonomy setup so when I add a new property, I can simply check a box for the specific city it is located in. Event-Based Properties: Create a separate, dedicated tab/section to showcase our available event-based properties. 2. Hospitality & Area Guides: Crystal Coast Guide: Build a "Navigating the Crystal Coast" tab designed to feature local attractions, things to do, and area resources. (This should be built with local SEO in mind). Restaurant Portfolio: Create a section to showcase our 5 distinct restaurants, including a clean, easy-to-read layout for our menus. Homepage Call-to-Action: Design a dynamic "Featured Restaurant" block on the homepage that links directly to our Resy.com and restaurant webpage for table reservations. 3. SEO & Performance (The Foundation): Technical SEO & Indexing: Ensure the site is fully crawlable, configure the primary SEO plugin, generate XML sitemaps, and submit them via Google Search Console. On-Page & Local SEO: Write high-converting title tags and meta descriptions for core pages. Target long-tail, location-specific keywords (e.g., Morehead City real estate, Crystal Coast rentals). Speed & Performance: Implement basic speed optimizations (caching, image compression) to ensure fast load times on mobile and desktop. Ideal Candidate: Deep expertise in WordPress development (specifically using Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, and Advanced Custom Fields). Proven track record optimizing WordPress sites for local service businesses.
