My WordPress homepage misbehaves on certain desktop browsers, most noticeably in Firefox. The slider and find button are both affected: sometimes the slider mis-renders and the search field refuses to cooperate. Mobile and Chrome look fine, so I suspect a browser-specific conflict in the theme, JavaScript, or a plugin. I need someone to: • Diagnose why the slider and find button break only in Firefox and a few other desktop browsers. • Correct the root cause in the theme, child theme, or plugin code—no quick front-end hacks that could resurface later. • Ensure the fix keeps the current design and preserves all existing content. • Test the homepage thoroughly in Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and Safari before handing it back. Please check the search behaviour as well; I’m unsure whether results fail to load or the search bar itself stalls, so I’ll rely on your findings and solution. You’ll get WordPress admin and FTP access plus any error logs you request. Once complete, provide a brief change log so I can maintain the site confidently.
