Project Brief: Custom WordPress Theme + Pixel Perfect Mockup (No Page Builders) I am looking for a skilled WordPress developer and designer to create a pixel perfect visual mockup and then build a fully custom WordPress theme based on the layout and style of GoodChemDetailing.com. The final theme must be built using native WordPress tools only (Gutenberg + theme.json). No Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Oxygen, Bricks, or any page builders. What I Need From You You will be responsible for both the design and development: 1. Pixel Perfect Mockup Creation You will create high fidelity mockups (Figma or Adobe XD preferred) for: • Homepage • Service pages • About page • Contact page • Header and footer • Mobile and tablet versions These mockups must visually match the style and structure of GoodChemDetailing.com, including: • Spacing and layout • Typography hierarchy • Color usage • Button styles • Section structure • Image placement • Mobile responsiveness This mockup will serve as the blueprint for the custom WordPress theme. 2. Custom WordPress Theme Development After the mockups are approved, you will build a custom theme using: • Native Gutenberg block editor • theme.json for global styles • Clean PHP templates (header, footer, index, page, single, etc.) • Custom templates for service pages • Minimal plugins • Fast loading performance • SEO friendly structure • Fully responsive design • Installation ready ZIP file • Documentation on how to edit and manage the theme The final theme must match the approved mockups exactly. What I Will Provide To support your design and development work, I will supply: • Brand colors (HEX codes) • Logo files • All text content • All service descriptions • All images • Any icons or assets needed • Notes on required functionality (header behavior, mobile menu, etc.) Required Skills Please only apply if you have experience with: • Creating pixel perfect mockups (Figma or Adobe XD) • Custom WordPress theme development (not page builders) • PHP, HTML, CSS • Gutenberg block development • theme.json configuration • Responsive design • Performance optimization • SEO friendly coding practices Questions for Applicants Please answer the following: 1. Have you created pixel perfect mockups for websites before? 2. Can you provide examples of custom WordPress themes you built without Elementor or page builders? 3. If you need to see the reference site or brand assets before quoting, I can provide them. breadcrumbs section: Breadcrumbs must be built directly into the theme, not added through heavy plugins or page builders. Requirements: • Breadcrumbs must appear on service pages and any nested content. • Must be built using native WordPress functionality or lightweight custom code. • Must include proper schema markup for SEO. • Must be styled to match the mockup and overall site design. • Must be editable through Gutenberg or theme settings (no external builder). WordPress does not create breadcrumbs automatically, so this must be part of the theme build.
