I need a complete manuscript for an adventure-themed children’s story created specifically for the 3-to-5-year age range. The tone should be playful and imaginative while still keeping sentences short and vocabulary age-appropriate. My end goal is a physical book, so please shape the pacing and page breaks with printed spreads in mind—roughly one short paragraph (30–40 words) per double page works well for this audience. I will commission illustrations separately, but a simple scene note at the top of each page break is helpful for the artist. What I’m expecting from you • A polished story of 450–650 words that follows a clear beginning-middle-end structure and finishes with a satisfying, uplifting conclusion. • Page-by-page layout suggestions (numbered spreads with scene notes). • A short back-cover blurb (40–60 words) and an engaging title. Please deliver the text in an editable Word or Google Doc so I can share it with my designer. If you already have experience writing for board books or picture books, feel free to mention a sample; otherwise, creativity and an ear for rhythm will speak for themselves.
