I have already bought a Xero licence but nothing is configured yet. The business is a small-to-mid-sized manufacturing operation, so I need someone who can take me from a blank Xero file to a fully working system that fits a production environment. Here is what I know so far: • Licence is active and ready. • We do not have an internal accountant; I’ll rely on your guidance for every bookkeeping decision, from the chart of accounts through to recommended add-ons. • I’m not sure which built-in features (inventory, payroll, invoicing, etc.) are essential for us, so part of the engagement is helping me decide and then activating only what we actually need. Deliverables I expect: • A manufacturing-appropriate chart of accounts created in Xero and loaded with our opening balances (I’ll supply raw figures). • All core settings completed—tax rates, financial year, users, branding, and any manufacturing-friendly inventory options. • Advice and hands-on setup of integrations if they prove useful (for example, linking our bank feed or a shop-floor inventory tool). • A short remote walk-through or concise screencast so my team understands the day-to-day tasks—raising bills, matching payments, generating monthly reports. You will have direct access to me for questions, and I’m happy to supply any documents you need. My goal is to see transactions flowing smoothly and to feel confident we can keep the books accurate after you hand things over.
