Descripción de la oferta

I’m looking for a YouTube scriptwriter who can closely model my existing style from my channel @theofficialdrdan and turn new clinical research into engaging, algorithm‑friendly videos. I’m a pharmacist and obesity medicine expert. My channel focuses on: - GLP‑1 medications (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide, emerging triple agonists) - Obesity as a chronic disease - Evidence‑based metabolic health and cardiometabolic risk How this project will work: For this first round, I will hire multiple writers for a paid test script from the same brief and research paper. I’ll compare the scripts and then select one writer for ongoing, long‑term work. For this initial project, you will - Study my YouTube channel @theofficialdrdan to understand tone, style, and delivery. - Review 2–3 attached sample scripts from successful videos (to capture tone, pacing, structure). - Read the attached TRANSCEND‑T2D‑1 trial (research paper). - Create a new 8–10 minute script (approx. 1,200–1,500 words) designed for YouTube. If your work fits well, this can become an ongoing long‑term project with multiple scripts per month. What you will deliver - One teleprompter‑ready script (8–10 minutes, 1,200–1,500 words). Clear, YouTube‑optimized structure, including: - Strong hook (0:00–0:30). - Context/identity segment. - Core story or data breakdown. - Practical implications / “what this means for you.” - Close and call‑to‑action. You will have creative freedom in how you: - Frame the hook and main narrative. - Sequence and emphasize different parts of the trial. - Use pattern interrupts, engagement prompts, and CTAs to keep retention high, as long as the script remains medically accurate, ethical, and aligned with my voice. Style and tone - Please only apply if you are comfortable writing: - Trust‑first, evidence‑based, medically responsible content. - Plain‑language explanations for patients and the general public (no medical degree required). - Occasional light, tasteful humor or analogy as “seasoning,” without trivializing obesity or chronic disease. - Calm, direct, empathetic tone (no hype, no miracle language, no fear‑mongering). - You will see the exact style I want in the attached sample scripts. Requirements - Proven experience writing YouTube scripts (please provide samples). - Strong research and synthesis skills: able to read a clinical trial and distill it into clear, accurate, nuanced explanations. - Excellent written English and attention to detail. - Ability to match an existing brand voice and incorporate feedback. - Reliable and able to meet agreed deadlines. Nice to have (not mandatory): - Background or experience in health, medicine, obesity, endocrinology, or diabetes. - Familiarity with YouTube best practices (hooks, retention, CTAs, titles, and thumbnails). Project type and budget - This posting is for 1 test script based on the provided paper and sample scripts. - I plan to hire more than one writer for this test round. Each selected writer will be paid for their test script. If the test goes well, there is potential for ongoing, long‑term work with multiple scripts per month. When you bid, please include - A short introduction to your experience with YouTube and/or medical/educational content. - 1–3 samples of YouTube scripts or videos you’ve written. - Your fixed price for one 8–10 minute script as described above. - One or two sentences on how you might hook a video about a new GLP‑1 trial so it’s accurate and compelling.
